Until 2019, the MPC was located on the campus of the Ruhr-University in the ZKF (Zentrum für Klinische Forschung).Since 2019 the MPC is part of the ProDi (Protein Diagnostics). The MPC takes over the competence area of medical protein analysis.
The ProDi is located at the newly built "Gesundheitscampus" in Bochum and is therefore part of the Ruhr-University Bochum.
